His birth name is Clark Ames Dunham, but it’s likely he was given a new name when adopted.
With his adopted family he had a sister who was about two years older than him. She would have been adopted, at birth, two years prior to his adoption. I recall that his adopted father had something to do with one of the music schools or universities in the Buffalo area, perhaps a professor or teacher of music.
As his birth mother I privately celebrate his birthday every Memorial Day Weekend.
I have been searching for him since I was legally allowed to search, beginning on his 18th birthday!
I registered with the ALMA Society and the NYS Adoption registry 40 years ago.

All birth information and my contact info is available to him by contacting: The Alma Society under the file: 5/28/1967 Buffalo NY. You just need to mention this block and his birth name (above) and they can connect you to me.
Email for Director Marie Anderson and website is : www.almasociety.org and MAnderson@almasociety.org.
This agency does a fabulous job of providing all information and arranging reunions in a sensitive manner if desired by adoptee.
One final note: Connecting with my son is my greatest wish to end the mystery for him and for me. I can’t imagine dying and not being able to reach out to him before that time. Little does he know the great family he came from. I bet he is one handsome, perhaps musical and artistic man. I was told by a social worker that he has special adoptive parents so that has been comforting.
